Stasys Krasauskas (1929–1977) was a Lithuanian Soviet graphic artist and educator known for expressive woodcuts, linocuts, lithographs and etchings. His work is characterised by metaphorical imagery, concise forms and the contrast of white lines against black backgrounds, with literary illustration forming an important part of his practice.

Krasauskas was born in Kaunas on June 1, 1929, where he completed secondary school. From 1948 to 1952 he studied at the Vilnius State Institute of Physical Education and Sport and became a multiple Lithuanian SSR swimming champion. He subsequently studied at the Lithuanian SSR Art Institute in Vilnius from 1952 to 1958. From 1961 he taught at the institute.

Krasauskas began exhibiting in 1959 in Lithuania and abroad and held more than 30 solo exhibitions in cities including Moscow, Kraków, Sofia, Belgrade and Magdeburg. He worked in woodcut, linocut, lithography and etching, producing both independent prints and illustrations for literary works. His best-known image, Youth (1961), depicting a woman's face with willow branches in place of hair, became the emblem of the Soviet literary magazine Yunost. He illustrated works by Lithuanian poets Justinas Marcinkevičius and Eduardas Mieželaitis, as well as R. I. Rozhdestvensky, William Shakespeare and Vladimir Mayakovsky.

Among his major projects were illustrations for Mieželaitis's Man (1961–1962), Marcinkevičius's Blood and Ashes (1960), Shakespeare's Sonnets (1966), Mayakovsky's Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (1970) and Rozhdestvensky's Requiem (1961). His later series included Movement (1971) and The Ever-Living (1973–1975), the latter based on a German First World War memorial fresco and awarded the State Prize of the USSR in 1976. He received a bronze medal at the 1962 International Book Art Exhibition in Leipzig and the State Prize of the Lithuanian SSR in 1965.

Krasauskas was named Honoured Artist of the Lithuanian SSR in 1968 and People's Artist of the Lithuanian SSR in 1977. He died of laryngeal cancer in Moscow on February 10, 1977, aged 47, and was buried at Antakalnis Cemetery in Vilnius.
